AI credits are the currency for all AI-powered features in EcomWize Builder. Credits are spent per AI action, varying by what you generate. Editing your pages manually is always free.

Each plan includes a monthly allocation of AI credits:

Credits refresh at the beginning of each billing cycle. Unused credits do not roll over to the next month.
Your current credit balance is displayed in three places:
AI Chatbox - The credit count appears next to the input field at the bottom of the builder canvas.
Image Generation Modal - Your balance is shown at the top of the image generation interface.
Settings - Open Settings from your account menu and go to the Plans & Billing section to see your credits remaining with a visual progress bar.
The balance updates in real-time after each AI operation completes.
When you attempt an AI operation without sufficient credits:
An error message appears showing your current balance and the credits required for the operation.
You are prompted to upgrade your plan for more credits.
The AI operation is cancelled - no partial results are generated.
Background removal at 1 credit per image and agent messages at 5+ credits each are the most cost-effective AI features. Reserve full page generation (50+ credits) and AI image generation (20+ credits) for when they add the most value. Remember: editing your pages manually is always free.
AI image generation costs 20+ credits per image and varies by model and resolution. Test your prompt with a faster model or lower resolution first, then generate the final high-resolution version once you are happy with the result.
If you consistently run out of credits, upgrading from Free to Starter gives you more than 6x the credits. Upgrading from Starter to Pro gives you 5x the credits, and Enterprise gives you 4x the credits of Pro.
Here are some practical scenarios to help you estimate credit usage:
Building a 10-section landing page with AI assistance (Starter plan):
10 section generations = 100 credits
10 agent messages for fine-tuning = 50 credits
3 hero/banner images at 20 credits = 60 credits
Total: 210 credits
Building multiple pages with heavy AI usage:
3 full page generations = 150 credits
20 section generations = 200 credits
40 agent messages = 200 credits
10 AI images at 20 credits = 200 credits
Total: 750 credits (requires Starter plan)
No. Credits reset to your plan's monthly allocation at the start of each billing cycle. Unused credits from the previous month are not carried forward.
Currently, credits are tied to your subscription plan. To get more credits, upgrade to a higher plan tier.
Credits are allocated per user account. Each team member has their own credit balance based on their individual plan.
Credits are only deducted after a successful AI operation. If the operation fails due to a server error, your credits are not charged.
