When you add a new section to your page, EcomWize can use AI to generate content that fits naturally with the rest of your page. Instead of starting from placeholder text, you get copy that is tailored to your product, brand voice, and existing page content.
AI section generation is context-aware. It reads the content already on your page and uses your linked Shopify product data to produce relevant, conversion-focused copy for the new section.
Add a new section
Open the Sections Panel (left sidebar) and browse or search for the section type you want to add. Click on it to add it to your page.
Trigger AI generation
When the section is added, you will see a sparkle icon button that lets you generate AI content for the section. Click it to start the generation process.
Wait for generation
The AI processes your page context and generates content. A loading overlay appears on the section while content is being generated. This typically takes a few seconds.
Review and edit
Once generated, the section is populated with AI-written content. Review the text and make any manual adjustments as needed.
The AI draws from two main sources to generate relevant content:
The AI extracts text from all existing sections on your page. This allows it to:
Match the tone and voice of your existing copy
Avoid repeating the same points already covered
Create content that flows naturally within the page narrative
Reference specific claims or benefits mentioned elsewhere
If you have a Shopify product linked to the page, the AI also uses:
Product title - For accurate product naming
Product description - For understanding features and benefits
Vendor - For brand context
Product type - For industry-relevant language
The AI generates all text fields within the section, including:
Headlines and subheadings
Body text and descriptions
Button labels and calls to action
Bullet points and list items
Testimonial quotes and author names (for testimonial sections)
FAQ questions and answers (for FAQ sections)
Stat numbers and labels (for stats sections)
Each AI section content generation costs 10 AI credits. This is higher than a standard content rewrite (1 credit) because the AI processes the entire section and generates multiple text fields at once.
If you do not have enough credits, you will see an error message with your current balance and the option to upgrade your plan.
The AI reads all existing sections on your page for context. The more content your page already has, the better the AI can match your tone and avoid repetition. If you are building from scratch, consider writing the hero section first, then using AI for the rest.
After generating section content, use the AI Content Rewriting feature to fine-tune individual text fields. Generation gives you a solid starting point; rewriting lets you polish it.
AI generation works across all section categories - hero, benefit, testimonial, FAQ, stats, comparison, and more. Each section type has its own generation logic tuned to that content format.
Yes. Triggering AI generation on a section that already has content will overwrite the existing text. The previous content is saved in your undo history, so you can revert if needed.
Yes. The AI uses the content from all other sections on your page as context, so it produces relevant, high-quality results even without a linked product. Linking a product adds extra detail like the product name and description, but it is not required for great results.
